Meet Daniel

...and I’m now a Senior Developer within the Business Intelligence team. Along the way I’ve learnt many new things, in topics that I didn’t even know existed when I joined!

Every day I get to work with best in-class tech and data products with some very knowledgeable people. At times it can be difficult to know who owns what in the business, be it a service or data stream, and who the right person to speak to is. But t​​​​​​he business has a great culture, and you can see how happy and helpful the people are.

As a parent of two young children they really support me with great policies so I can ‘work my way’, do the school run and work around my parenting duties. Plus anything which Bytes provides!

It’s a place where you can be yourself and find a way to work which works for you. What I like is how we’re trusted to get the job done and find our own work-life balance. We’re part of a place that really makes a difference, and it’s a cause we all get behind in our day-to-day job.

So if you’re looking to join, I’d say really try to understand what the business stands for, and be yourself when applying and interviewing. Having an appreciation for what we do goes a long way in understanding our data.
