Anna Nguyen
Hi, my name is Anna Nguyen and I am a Senior Data Scientist - I help to develop, manage, and deploy machine learning models. These models can be used to predict consumer behaviour, sort deals based on historical data, and provide useful insights to stakeholders.

What are you most proud of in your career to date?
My proudest achievements to date, would be the publication of my first paper. Having a non-traditional background that deviates from computer sciences, this publication was a demonstration that I am capable within this field.
What is your favourite part of the job?
When a model is put into production. Getting to see how the output that your model has generated actually affects / gets used by consumers is a very cool feeling.
What are you doing currently with your own personal development, any great books or podcasts you’d recommend?
I try to stay on top of learning by being enrolled in refresher courses, or trying to learn a new skill in my free time that is related but separate from my day-to-day like app development. My favorite machine learning / data science podcast is Practical AI.
What is your guilty pleasure when working from home?
My guilty pleasure when working from home has got to be the pajamas. I love nothing more then working with some comfy clothes on.

I am double jointed in my shoulders!
